ARRIVAL AT HASTINGS.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Napier, last night. Messrs N. Oates and Wiidey, with their motor car, aoeomplised a journey of 108 miles to-day, coming through from Pahiatua and reaching Hastings at 10.30 p.m. Owing to a slight accident to the spoke 3 of the car the progress over the Rimutaka ranges was slow, and a bad road from Takapau to Waipukurau, also prevented a speedy journey.
