FEDERAL ARRANGEMENTS.
THE DUKE'S VISIT.

Mr Deakin is engaged in drafting three Bills to provide for an Interstate Commission, a Federal Judiciary, and federal public service requirements. The Cabinet has appointed a committee to draw up recommendations for the decoration of Melbourne during the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York. Full advantage will* be taken of the experience gained in Sydney. The Government is arranging for a big review of the Imperial troops on their arrival.
