THE KAISER AND FAST TRAINS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Jan. 14. The Kaiser has placed the military railway between Berlin and Jossen at the disposal of the company which is experimenting with electric trains. The company hopes that the trains will attain a speed of from 125 to 160 miles an hour.
The directors of the companies associated with the recent failures in connection with the shares of the Lake View, a West Australian mine, propose to reconstruct the different concerns on a new footing. Rosseau’s Bill dealing with religious associations, prohibits such associations existing between the French and foreigners, or with headquarters abroad, or directed by foreigners without State authorisation. * It also prevents such associations' with those whose members love in common. It is proposed to transfer tho confiscated property for workmen’s pensions.
