The Federal Cabinet.

FREE TRADERS ORGANISING.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, last night. The Federal Cabinet has further considered and decided upon a policy. The Hon. Mr Barton will disolose this at his meeting at Maitland some time next week. At present he refuses to say anything regarding the tariff beyond the statement that it will satisfy every reasonable man, and that the unreasonable section will be dealt with afterwards.

No steps are to be taken to replace Sir J. R. Dickson till after the Federal meeting. The free trade party are completing the arrangements for the elections, and are holding organising meetings. The New South Wales Freetrader Liberal Association has been established as an Australian organisation, and co-operative committees have been appointed to act with the other colonies.
