The Oriont’s troops landed and marched through the stroets to the Exhibition Buildings, where thoy wore officially welcomed by the Minister for Defonco and other Ministerial and military heads, who raado speeches which woro eulogistic in regard to their services. Tho officors commanding the various detachmonts replied. Thoro woro bigs crowds of people, and much enthusiasm prevailed.
