By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright. London, Clan. 5, The Admiralty reports that tho Harfleur mutiny was a minor disturbance. . The implication of a few was repudiated by the remainder of the crew. Three are under arrest.
The Times’ Hong Kong correspondent states that Britain’s complacency led Russia to claim possession of tho important Shanhaikwan workshops,tho retention of the Shanhaikwan-Tientsin railway, the rolling stock for the Niuohwang section of the line, also holding the line on Tientsin within the city wall to cover tho cost of repairs and transport.
The Daily Express says that if Count Waldersee accepts the conditions tho railvvay will bo transferred to him, and by nim transferred to the British.
The cruiser Blenheim has been ordered to relieve the cruiser Undaunted on the China 1 station, and tho cruiser Argonaut has been added to tho British, squadron on tho station.
