Proof that fish stories arc not all “tall"' ones was given yesterday, when a local resident. Mr. J. Carlson, displayed a iiUlb. schnapper, which was caught in a light crayfish pot in the r-.ca near the end ol (lie breakwater on Monday evening. Mr. Carlson was fishing for crayfish at the time with a pot made from a bicycle rim and twine netting. lie wa; using bullock heart as the bait, and after leaving the pot immersed for some time found difficulty in pulling it up. When he did raise the pot to the surface he found thetlft. long schnappcr flapping in the pot. Two iron bars tixed across the top of the pot prevented the fish from jumping out. but how the fish got into the pot is still puzzling the lucky fisherman.
