TERRORISTS’ NEW BLOW
RAIL STATION WRECKED SABOTEURS ON TRAIN (10 a.m.) LONDON, May 27. Terrorists blew up and demolished the Ramleh railway station, reports Reuter's correspondent in Jerusalem. Four men disguised as policemen, carrying baskets, got off the train which pulled into the station, disappeared behind the station buildings and returned to the train before it moved off. A terrific explosion shattered the station a few minutes later. It is officially stated that the stationmaster's wife was injured in the explosion. A Government statement say it now appears that the four men in police uniforms might not be connected with the bombing. It is also officially stated that an explosion occurred beneath a goods train south of Haifa. No details arc available.
