ANGLO-EGYPTIAN ISSUE (10 a.m.) WASHINGTON. May 27. The United States has no intention of intervening in the dispute between Britain and Egypt, and is pursuing a strict “hands-off” policy in the matter. The spokesman declared that the United States had not been invited to mediate.
