RACE AT BRISBANE

RECORD ENTRY OF 85 TWO NEW ZEALAND HORSES SYDNEY. May 27. A record entry of 85 horses has been received for the Doomben Ten Thousand. to be run at Brisbane on July 5. Twenty-nine horses have been nominated from Sydney, 18 from Victoria,two from New Zealand, one from West Australia and the remainder from Brisbane. The field includes Australia's outstanding rnilers, Shannon and Attley and the New Zealand stars Davinci and Master Dash. Davinci arrived in Sydney this morning and will rest here for a fortnight before travelling to Brisbane by rail. Master Dash leaves Melbourne today by float. He ran second to Attley last February in the Futurity Stakes. The New Zealander Stenclaus is among five horses who will travel to Brisbane from Melbourne by air. Hiraji and Immediate are also entries.
