Mr. Justice Fair, who has been presiding over the quarterly session of the Supreme Court in Gisborne for the past week, left by 'plane this morning for the south. Mr. S. R. Edwards, of the passenger office staff of the Gisborne railway station, has received notice of his transfer to the Hastings railway station, and will leave early next month to take up his new position. He will be replaced at Gisborne by Mr. J. D. Macaulcy, who will come from Hastings. Mr. S. D. Swainson, of the Gisborne staff, of the Works Department, has received advice of his success in the final section of the professional accountancy examination.
