At present these we.« allowed to be used in offices up to 4 p.m. each day. wh'le domestic radiators were not restricted The quota of power available for next week was much lower than this week's and Mr. Baigent pointed out that it was possible that the board would encounter difficulties in keeping within the bounds of their quota unless all consumers co-operated Mr. Bnigei’t also reiterated his pro vious appeal to consumers to switch off all electrical appliances when the cut was imposed, and not switch them on again until power had been restored. Great difficulty had been experienced lately at the control pane; in throwing the switches back, owin? to the immed'ato load which went on to the switches If household switches were left turned off until the power was restored to the feeder, little dlfficul‘y y.-ould be encountered at the control station.
