NO FOUL PLAY
DEATH OF FARMER POCKET-KNIFE DISCOVERED (P.A 1 .) AUCKLAND. Mrv 28. Detectives believe that the death of Mr William Henry Barber, aged (>7. whose body was found in a paddock on his property at Tomarata. near Wcllslord. with a wound in the throat was not due lo foul play. As a result of a lurthcr search of Hie area where Hie body was lying a pocket-knife which could have inflicted Hie wound, was found. The chief detecUve at Auckland. Sub-Inspector J. Walsh, and Dr. W. Gilmour, pathologist at the Auckland Hospital, visited the scene voider day. Mr. Barber was last seen on Wednesday. He was found lying on his back about a mile from his homestead. His sheep-dog was watching over his body. He H'-ed alone and apparently had been workin" m his property shortly before his deatii.
