FRIENDSHIP OFFER

BRITAIN'S ACTION YOUNGER GERMANS IMPORTANT STATEMENT ESSEN, May 25. They looked to Germany to wipeout the memory of the war. Germany s present weakness was her spiritual opportunity. Lord Pakenham repeated an earlier announcement that a very important statement would be made on Tuesday. He said a new era was opening for the British and United States zones.
