The Secretary of Overseas Trade, Mr. Harold Wilson, in a speech at Oxford, said Britain could only, deal exclusively with Empire countries at the price of a much lower standard of living for the British people than that which the Government intended them to have. Discussing the future of British exports, Mr. Wilson said they could not hope to put cotton back where it was in 1913, but Britain hoped to supply the world market with the highest quality cotton, wool, and rayon and nylon goods. _____
