Banking and Late Shopping Night
A banking facility that exists throughout New Zealand but one which is not generally known is that business houses can deposit locked bags at banks up to 5 .'lO p.m. on late-shopping nights and retrieve them again on Monday morning. A Gisborne bank manager this morning stated that although the service was available in Gisborne on Friday nights it was seldom used.
