TOKOMARU SPORTS

A meeting of the Tokomaru Bay Patriotic Committee was held on Wednesday evening. Mr. A. N. Wilkins presiding. A report and balance sheet was read by the secretary covering the recent sports meeting, and the statement of accounts showed a net profit of £IOB 18s 4d, which was considered very satisfactory. The committee passed a motiqn of thanks to the workers and a special vote of thanks was extended to the ladies’ committee for their untiring work in this and other spheres of the patriotic efforts.
