DEPLETED FORCE

LUFTWAFFE BOMBERS (10 a.m.) LONDON, June 4. The journal Aeroplane estimates Germany’s total bomber force at present as somewhat under 2000 planes, with a total bomb-load capacity of not more than 4500 tons. To these can be added a force of fighterbombers, each of which is capable of carrying only one 5501 b. bomb. If the whole of the Luftwaffe, including night fighters, was concentrated in one area, its total bomb-load capacity would not exceed 0000 tons, which is 300 tons less than the Royal Air Force dropped on Germany last week.
