MR. EDSEL FORD’S WILL PHILANTHROPIC BEQUESTS (9.30 aan.) NEW YORK, June 4. The will of Mr. Edsel Ford, formerly president ol the Ford Motor Company, wh-ich has been filed for probate, bequeathes the bulk of his estate to the Ford Foundation which is a nonprofit educational corporation. Guts to such organisations are not taxable. The attorneys estimate that the estate inheritance and transfer taxes will be £3.000,000., Thfc entire estate is believed to be worth about £50,0( 0,000, including 4l£ per cent of the shares ■ in the Ford Motor Company and the majority oU stock in the Manufacturers’ National Bank, Detroit. Most of Mr. Ford’s shares in the motor company are left to the foundation, the remainder being divided equally among the widow and each ol the four children. The widow, who is named as the executrix also ieceives the bank stock, the family estates in Michigan, Maine and Florida and other properties and Mi. Ford’s personal effects,.
