NO BREAK WITH AXIS
ARGENTINA’S STAND PRESSURE ON CHILE (3 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 16. The _ Foreign Minister, Senor Ruiz Guinazu, stated that Argentina had no intention of breaking off relations with the Axis at present but will adhere to a policy, of strict,neutrality. Meanwhile, reports- from Caracas indicated that the Venezuelan and Colombian Governments are attempting to bring Chile closer to hemispheric co-operation with the reconciliation of Chile and the United States as the objective. :
