It is reported to grow well in a hot climate with not too rich a - soil, and certain portions of the district should be suitable for the purpose. v Nasturtium seed is also to be grown commercially, and an acre is to be sown. Pumpkins and squash in different forms are to be tried for table rise, in addition to: the’varieties fat present grown.- , . ■■ . •’

The large areas in potatoes in the district are being further added to, and additional lots of seed potatoes have been delivered recently for planting in the district.
