INDO-CHINA FORCES JAPANESE SEA LOSSES (1.30 p.m.) It' CHUNGKING, Oct. 18. Chungking is rapidly becoming the headquarters of Frenchmen escaping from’-the -"occupied • ’areas-’ in the Far East who hope to join the Fighting French. Six’have arrived in the last few weeks'; including‘Squadron-Leader Pirr Louyads, of the French air force stationed in Indo-China. • He said that the Japanese strength in Indo-China was only 20,000, most of ‘which,’ including the air force, is concentrated in the Saigori area.
