SEVEN FLIERS MISSING

AIR FORCE CASUALTIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following Royal New Zealand Air ‘Force casualties have been’ reported:— i Sergeant Hugh. Royston Callender, missing, believed a prisoner of war. His father is Mr. J. R. Callender, Dunedin. Sergeant John Trevor Vivian Gill, i missing on air operations. His mother is Mrs. E. Gill, Auckland.

Leading Aircraftman Edwin James Goodall, seriously ill. His mother is Mrs. M. J. Goodall, Orawia. Sergeant Horace Llewelyn Grant, missing on air Operations. His sister is Miss J. Grant, Christchurch. ’ Sergeant Richard Alfred William Newman, missing on air operations. His father is ,Mr. A. Newman, Wellington. Sergeant Rupert Ernest Renton, missing on air operations. His mother is Mrs. A. Renton, Auckland.'

The following casualties have been reclassified: — Warrant Officer Bryan Manssen Cook, of Wellington, previously reported missing, now reported missing, believed killed in action.. Sergeant John Wilding, of Morrinsville, removed from the dangerously injured list. Sergeant George Thirlwell Brown, missing on air operations. His mother is Mrs. N. Brown, Wellington.
