WORK IN MUNITION PLANT LONDON, Sept. 7. At the gates of Harewood House, Yorkshire nome of the Princess Koya, and Lord Harewood, the evening motor-bus drops a tali young man wearing oil-stained dungarees. He is the Hon. Gerald Lascelles, 17-year-old younger son of the Princess Loyal and Earl of Harewood, and nephew oi the King, coming home to suppei after his nine-hour day at a northeast of England munition factory. He earns nearly £2 a week. The King’s nephew has been Apprentice Eascelles in an engineering shop for some time. Now, alter working stripped to the waist at the rurnaces. he is operating a turning and cutting machine. On top of his nine-hour day in the factory he has a long bus journey to and from work.
