BUILT IN 24 DAYS
10,000-TON SHIP LAUNCHED (9 a.m.) * NEW YORK, Aug. 29. A message from Richmond, California, says that the Henry Kaiser shipyard launched a 10,000-ton Liberty ship 24 days after the keel was laid, establishing a record for speedy construction. Mr. Kaiser predicted that within a few months his yards would launch 10,000-tonners on a 18-day construction schedule.
