FIGHTING FRENCH ENVOY WELCOME APPRECIATED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following telegrarh addressed to the Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, was received by the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, acting Prime Minister, from the High Commissioner of Fighting France in the Pacific, M. d’Argenlieu who recently visited the Dominion. "On my departure from New Zealand, I wish once more to say how much I have' appreciated the weL come that your Government has given me. “The French National Committee will not fail fully to appreciate the Dominion’s recent declaration of its policy towards Fighting France and the most friendly words that you, as Prime Minister, have recently expressed. I further wish every success to the armed forces of your noble and beautiful country now engaged in the world war.”
