Commanner’s Appreciation
“The commanding officer desires to express his appreciation to all ranks for the manner in which the battalion parade and march-past was carried out on Sunday,” states the Gisborne Battalion routine orders for the week, issued to-day. The orders also refer to the posting of the following: C. S. Goodson. to A Company; W. A. Blair and C. R. Andrew, to B Company; B. R. Mitchell and P. Williams, to C Company; T. McE. Dempsey, to Guards Company. Transfers noted were: W. L. Garrett, C Company to Guards; A. C. Goldsmith, B Company to 8.H.Q.; H. D. Robinson. D Company to Guards; J. H. Hullen, D Company to Cook Battalion; J. Albert and Hori Haviea, C Company to Cook Battalion.
