RESPONSIBILITY QUESTION Replying to a recent statement by the Auckland Burea.i of Importers that the rubber position was due to the refusal of Mr. Nash to grant import licenses in 1939-40, the Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, said in Greymouth that this was untrue.
