Those persons who have not negotiated their August tea and sugar coupons before tile 31st will be unable to do so after that date, when coupons 13-16 for tea and 19-22 for sugar become available. Amendments and additions to the list of coupons values ami instructions to traders are notified elsewhere in this issue. It has been found possible to arrange foi the release of a limited quantity of potatoes tor use by private individuals in the North Island for seed purposes, according to info: motion supplied to-day by the Primary Industrial Controller. The quantity available is such that all demands cannot be met, and in order that some control over the distribution can be kept, certain conditions have been drafted, compliance with which is essential before potatoes can be supplied. Particulars of these conditions , are set out' in an advertisement in this issue.
