Air Force Table Tennis

Some splendid games of table-tennis were witnessed when two units of the Air Force met in a friendly match at the Y.M.C.A. on Wednesday night. The teams were: F. J. O'Gorman, captain, R, J. llowaett, 4 , G Simpson, I. McPhail; and N. Hutcmeon, captain. J. Pendrny. W. Ingram, P. Perreau. Hutchison’s team won by 22 games to 18. with a total of 709 points to 649. The match of the evening was that between O’Gorman, a former South Canterbury champion, and Hutchison, a former Otago representative, the former vanning one game 21 —IS, and the. latter 23—21. Most of the games were well contested.
