NEW U.S. CRUISER
(Reed. Jan. 12, 9 a.m.) BOSTON, Jan. 10. The 6000-ton cruiser San Diego has been commissioned six months ahead of schedule. The vessel, one of the fastest built for the navy, is capable of a speed exceeding 35 knots.
