FALL FROM BRIDGE

LITTLE BOY DROWNED (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Trevor John O'Daniels, aged eight, fell through the railway bridge at Stewart's Gully yesterday morning and was drowned. The boy’s father was fishing on the opposite side of the river and no one was on the bridge at the time. The accident occurred at about 10.30 a.m. and the body was recovered at 11.40 after dragging had been carried out by the police. Artificial respiration was tried without success. The boy lived with his parents at 83 Mersey street, St. Albans.
