News has been received by Mrs. J. Witters, Gisborne, that her son, Gunner Lindsay Roy Witters, who was previously reported missing, is now reported safe in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force base camp. Second-Lieutenant Percy E. Sefton, who has been notified as having been killed in action, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Sefton, Bunnythorp, formerly of Te Karaka. Mr. Sefton was headmaster at the Te Karaka School for many years, and later had charge of the Rang*cira Hotel before moving to his present home in Bunnythorpe. ,
