The organiser, Mr. A. G.~ Lucaß, To Karaka, explainer! the details of the scheme in case of invasion, and committees were formed to receive evacuees should the occasion arise. A further meeting is to be held on Tuesday evening by the members of the three committees to make final arrangements.
