The Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting was marred by rain in the early part of the programme, which made the track very heavy. Owing to the conditions Gold Bar'did not make an attempt on the mile record. The totalisntor handled £42,572 10s, compared with £43,089 10s last year, a decrease of £517. For the meeting the sum of £92,535 was handled, against £90,974 last year, an increase of £lsOl.
