EAST COAST STOCK SALE IN MORRINSVILLE Sheep from Gisborne, the East Coast and Hawke’s Bay and cattle from the East Coast were offered at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday to steady competition. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports that the large entry comprised mainly two-tooth ewes and included a small proportion of four-tooths and a few older sheep, and the entire yarding was from the East Coast and Hawke’s Bay, Although good sheep were sought, prices were not as high as those ruling last year. The highest price for two-tooth ewes was 31s sd, but smaller two-tooths and older sheep were hard to quit. The entry of store cattle from the East Coast arrived in good order and was offered before a representative bench of buyers.
