Defence Requirements
A reply has been received by the Mayor, Mr. N. H. Bull, to representations made to the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, in regard to the defence requirements of Gisborne, the Mayor stressing the urgency of action in this respect. Mr. Bull has received a reply from the Minister stating that the rebresefl't&tloHS were receiving urgent attention and that the Mayor would be advised later.
