MANY FIRES CREATED

RAIDS ON AXIS BASES (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 10.30 a.m. RUGBY, Jan. 9. The Air Ministry states that many fires were left burning in the German naval base at Brest after last nights attack by a strong force of Royal Air Force bombers. Two bombers are missing from this raid and a raid on the docks at Cherbourg.
