VICEREGAL VISIT
(Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, this day. On their first official visit to Invercargill, Sir Cyril and Lady Newall arrived on Thursday night from Gore. Yesterday morning His Excellency addressed members of the Southland Patriotic Council. Her Excellency visited the Karitane Hospital. Their Excellencies later visited the Kew Hospital. Yesterday afternoon they were accorded a civic reception in the Civic Theatre. They will return north in the morning.
