(Per Prosa Afwocifttion.) DUNEDIN, this day. The following telegram has been dispatched to the Director of National Service by the Mayor, Mr. Alien: "In order to avoid the necessity of separate appeals to the man-power committees by the mayors against E.P.S. trained personnel being transferred to the army under the general rripbilisation and to secure uniformity Ulroughout the Dominion, I suggest, tliat you secure their retention by regulation.”
