REPORTED FINN MOVE OFFICIALS RETICENT (Reed. Jan. 9, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, .Jan. 8. The New York Times Berne correspondent learns, without confirmation from Helsinki that M. Paaskivi has left for a certain point on the Russo-Finnish front with a view to proceeding to (Moscow for preliminary peace talks. Before his departure, the Finnish Parliament held a long secret session. The official spokesman in Helsinki denied that Finland was ready to withdraw from the war, but when questioned as to whether it was true that Finland had already reached her strategic goal, merely replied that it was impossible at present to comment.
