BRITISH AND ITALIANS TREATMENT OF WOUNDED (Reed. Jan. 9, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 8. Reuter’s correspondent, with the South Africans near Halfaya Pass says that an Italian medical officer under a white flag brought out five wounded members of a British bomber which crashed within the enemy defences at Halfaya to enable the wounded to receive attention from the South Africans besieging the position.
