TRAINED WAR DOGS
SERVICE ON PATROL LONDON, Nov. 24. Both ReicHswehr and S.S. use trained dogs in their attacks and patrols. writes Sefton Delmer. When they are accompanied by men the dogs aie trained to point at the enemy just as if he were a rabbit or a bird. But sometimes the dogs reebnnoitre alone. Then if they spot enemy troops they give a short warning bark to the soldiers behind them and run back or lie down for cover.
