NATIONAL MONUMENT [ MOVEMENT IN ENGLAND: LONDON, Dec. 22.£ The death this week of Mrs. Rud-’ yard Kipling has been followed by $ move to secure the poet’s home as a. national monument. Many of Kipling’s admirers went to; the house at Burwash, Surrey, hoping to obtain a glimpse of the poet’s study,but Mrs. Kipling would never allow a: stranger in the house.
