(Herald Correspondent.) Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Askew and family, Te Karaka, with their guests, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Hill and Mr. and Mrs. J. de Winter, Wellington, spent last week camping at Pouawa Beach. Miss K. Morris, Gisborne, is spending the holidays with Mrs. H. O’Connell, Te Karaka.—Mrs. D. Lamont, Kaiti, accompanied by her two little sons, is staying with her sister, Mrs. R. H. Brown, “Te Pari.”—Miss Edith Hodge, Whangara, is spending her Christmas vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hodge, Te Karaka. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Hill and Mr. and Mrs. J. de Winter, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Askew, Te Karaka, returned to Wellington this week.—Miss Edna Castles, Kanakanaia, is on holiday in Wellington.
