NEW AIR SQUADRONS
UNITED STATES ARMY BIG EXPANSION PLAN (Reed. Dee. 30, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON; Dec. 29. The United States War Department nas ordered the creation of 52 new army air corps squadrons to be stationed by February 1 in the United States, Puerto Rico., Panama Canal zone, Hawaii, and Alaska. This is one of the largest expansions of the air corps in history. It comprises bombardment, pursuit, reconnaissance and observation units.
