O’REILLY TAKES TOLL EIGHT FOR 23 RUNS QUEENSLAND VICTIMS (Klee. Tel. Cnpyrinlit—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 29. In a Sheffield Shield cricket match against New South Wales, Queensland in the first innings made 105 runs. Brown was the top scorer with 24. O’Reilly took eight wickets for 23 runs. Six of the batsmen concerned were bowled. O’Reilly bowled only 11 overs, but he had all his victims tied up from the outset. New South Wales irv the first innings made 240 runs at a cost of five wickets. Mudge made 79 and Barnes 78 not out. In the Sheffield Shield match at Melbourne against South Australia, Victoria in the first innings made 289 runs for five wickets. Millet made 108 1 and Hassett 92.
