INDIAN CONTINGENT
ARRIVAL IN FRANCE UNITY OF EMPIRE (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 27. Reports from the correspondents with the British Expeditionary Force state that several of the latest reinforcements include a contingent from India. Complete with thousands of mules, they have now arrived in France and their presence in Europe, following quickly upon the arrivals here of units of Canada and Australia, is a fresh demonstration of how the cause for which the Allies are fighting finds support in every part of the British commonwealth.
