VIEWS OF LEAGUE ANSWER BY NATIONS HELPING FINLAND FINANCE-VOLUNTEERS (Reed. Dec. 29, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 28. A report from Geneva says that Colombia, Dominica. Liberia and Uruguay have replied to the League regarding help for Finland broadly supporting the League Assembly’s resolution. A message from Berne says that the Swiss Government has donated £55,000 to the Finnish Red Cross. A message from Oslo states that Norway has contributed £235,000 to help Finland. Members of the Icelandic Parliament have given a week’s salary. A Copenhagen message states that 350 Danish volunteers have gone to Finland. A Swiss radio broadcast said that Russia has announced that as a result of her expulsion from the League she is no longer abiding by the International Red Cross convention.
