SALES TAX LOWER
The amount of sales lax collected during November was £291,844, as compared with £32,1,125 in October and £304,381 in November, 1938. For the expired eight months of the current financial year the tax has yielded £2,421,808, an increase of £78,539 over the total for the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
